아티스트 PATTYMADE의 EP ‘Flying Birds’의 앨범 아트워크를 제작했습니다. 곡의 제목에서 힌트를 얻어, 음악을 반복해 들으며 이미지를 구상했습니다. 빠른 비트는 시원한 해방감을 주는 동시에, 숨이 턱 막힐 듯 심장을 빠르게 뛰게 하는 긴장감을 함께 지니고 있습니다. 이러한 감정에서 출발해, 답답한 현실에서 벗어나고자 달리고 있는 인물의 서사를 떠올렸습니다. 비행체가 이륙하기 위해 높은 속도를 필요로 하듯, 이 인물 또한 자신의 한계를 인지하면서도 그 답답함을 뚫고 끝내 날아오르고자 하는 충동 속에서 달리고 있는 순간을 시각적으로 표현했습니다.

Album artwork for PATTYMADE’s EP “Flying Birds.” Taking the title as a starting point, I developed the visual concept by repeatedly listening to the track. The fast-paced rhythm conveys a sense of refreshing release, while simultaneously evoking a breathless tension that makes the heart race. From this emotional contrast, I imagined a character running in an attempt to escape a suffocating reality. Just as an aircraft requires immense speed to take off, the character is driven by the impulse to break through their limitations and rise—fully aware that they may never truly be able to fly. This fleeting moment of tension and desire is captured visually in the artwork.
