우리소리박물관의 전시<한강, 소리로 흐르다> 속 ‘시선 뱃노래’ 해설 애니메이션을 제작했습니다. 시선배와 통나무배가 한강의 양 끝에서 출발해 마포에서 만나기까지의 여정을, 전통 산수화의 다양한 장면들과 결합해 풀어낸 영상입니다. 정적인 그림을 생동감 있게 구현하기 위해 수묵화의 질감과 한국적 자연미를 살린 레이어드 애니메이션 기법을 활용했으며, 한 장면 한 장면이 마치 살아 숨 쉬는 풍경처럼 느껴지도록 섬세하게 연출했습니다. 기존의 역사 해설 영상과는 결이 다른, 감성적이고 시적인 접근으로 관람객에게 ‘한강’이라는 공간과 소리에 대한 몰입감을 전달하고자 했습니다.

We produced the “Siseon Boat Song” interpretive animation for the exhibition “Han River, Flowing with Sound” at the National Gugak Center’s Korean Sound Museum. The animation follows the journeys of the Siseon boat and a log raft as they depart from opposite ends of the Han River and meet in Mapo, blending their travel narrative with scenes inspired by traditional Korean landscape paintings. To bring static illustrations to life, we employed layered animation techniques that highlight the textures of ink wash and the natural aesthetics of Korean art, allowing each frame to feel like a living, breathing landscape. With a more poetic and emotional approach than conventional historical explanation videos, the work aims to immerse viewers in the atmosphere, space, and soundscape of the Han River.
